Confusion over and consideration about classification and definition of primary angle-closure glaucoma

Abstract:

This paper reflected upon the clinical confusion over the classification and definition of primary angle-closure glaucoma proposed by International Society of Geographical and Epidemiological Ophthalmology(ISGEO). It is pointed out that lack of unified standards for glaucoma is the root of the confusion, and a preliminary discussion is made on the definition of glaucoma.
