    Abstract:

    AIM:To investigate the clinical effect by nasal endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy in treating acute dacryocystitis. METHODS:The clinical data of 15 cases (15 eyes) under nasal endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy in treating acute dacryocystitis from July 2008 to July 2010 were retrospectively analyzed. RESULTS:The efficiency was 93%, in 15 cases ( 15 eyes), 13 eyes were cured, 1 eye was improved and 1 eye was invalid. CONCLUSION: Nasal endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy in treating acute dacryocystitis can shorten the course of disease and is practicable clinically.
