Prospect of immunosuppression of Artemisinin and its derivatives in uveitis control

Abstract:

Artemisinin is extracted from herbal medicine,Artemisia annua L,which can be made into many derivatives after chemical alteration.With further research into the pharmacological effects of artemisinin and its derivatives,immunosuppression effect was discovered.Considering the clinical application of artemisinin and its derivatives,the prospect of immunosuppression effect in uveitis control is very promising.
