    Abstract:

    To evaluate the clinical effect of 64 spiral CT localization method in extracting magnetic intraocular foreign body. METHODS:Fourty-eight cases (48 eyes) with 64 spiral CT intraocular foreign bodies were analyzed retrospectively,including 32 cases of intraocular foreign body extraction,of which 24 cases were performed phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation,and 8 cases of vitrectomy for extraction of foreign bodies and removal of blood or vitreous empyema at the same time. RESULTS: Magnetic intraocular foreign bodies were extracted by 64 spiral CT localization method completely in all eyes.The postoperative visual acuity of the patients all had varing degrees of rise. CONCLUSION: 64 spiral CT localization method is a smiple and effective method for extracting magnetic intraocular foreign body.
