Abstract:Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the first irreversible blind eye disease in western countries. With China’s population aging growing, AMD patients in China are also increasing, but its pathogenesis remains unclear. It plays an very important role in AMD prevention, diagnosis and treatment in clinical application,by exploring the internal relations between apolipoprotein E gene and AMD.
