Abstract:AIM:To observe the clinical effect of corneal stem cell transplantation in the treatment of pterygium,and discuss how to reduce the recurrence after operation.METHODS:Corneal stem cell transplantation was performed for 112 eyes of 112 cases.RESULTS:Patients were followed up for 6 months to 2 years,recurrence rate was 2.7%.CONCLUSION:Corneal stem cell transplantation,an ideal technique,can effectively reduce the recurrence rate of pterygium.
