Abstract:·AIM:To evaluate the influence of binocular vision training on surgical effect of concomitant extropia.·METHODS:Totally 90 patients with concomitant extropia were divided into two groups. One group with binocular vision training and the other group without binocular vision training. All of patients were followed up from 6 months to one year, including the function of binocular vision and the position of eye.·RESULTS:The recovery rate of binocular vision of patients in training group was higher than that of patients in control group.Recession rate of eye position of patients in training group was lower than that of patients in control group.·CONCLUSION:Binocular vision training for patients over seven years old with concomitant extropia after surgery is helpful for recovery of binocular vision.Recession rate of eye position is low.·
