    Abstract:

    ·AIM:Toxic anterior segment syndrome is aseptic inflammatory reaction from the response to anterior segment intraocular surgery,and has become an important complication of cataract surgery.Various non-infectious agents with operation of the anterior chamber may result in the occurrence of the syndrome,mainly as diffuse corneal edema,ciliary congestion,anterior chamber fibrin exudation.Most of patients can be cured with glucocorticoid and some patients can affect vision by permanent eye injury.Early diagnosis and treatment for those disease are important.This paper reviewed this syndrome to arouse the concern of clinical ophthalmologists.·
