    Abstract:

·AIM:To explore ache reasons of old patients after retinal reattachment surgery and nursing care measures.·METHODS:Ache degree was measured by linear marker in 164 old patients after retinal reattachment.164 cases were divided into A and B groups.Group A including 64 cases were treated with scleral buckle whereas group B including 100 cases treated with vitrectomy surgery. In group B,62 cases were with gas tamponade and 38 cases were with silicone oil tamponade postoperatively.·RESULTS:There was significant difference between two groups(χ2=6.211,P<0.05).The ache rate and ache degree of group B were much higher than those of group A.·CONCLUSION:The incision pain is the usual cause of ache in old patients with retinal reattachment surgery.High intraocular pressure is the main reason of moderate pain.·
