    Abstract:

    ·AIM:To retrospectively analyze the clinical safety of large-scale low-cost cataract surgery.·METHODS:Totally 1554 patients 1772 eyes underwent sutureless extracapsular cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation by scleral tunnel incision during the six years.All of the operation process were discussed detailly,and the data were retrospectively analyzed and summarized.·RESULTS:Visual acuity ≥0.3 on day 3 was in 1308 eyes(73.81%);≥1.0 was in 432 eyes(24.38%).There were no postoperative complications and medical dispute.·CONCLUSION:In large-scale cataract surgery,operation by "process flow" may ensure the quality and medical safety.·
