Abstract:·AIM:To study the classification,cause and manage-ment of the complications associated with hydroxyapatite(HA)orbital implantation.·METHODS:The complications in 41 patients receiving(HA)orbital implantation in our hospital were analyzed.·RESULTS:HA artificial eye pedestal exposure,migration and residual superior orbit cave etc.were observed through follow-up.The satisfactory results were obtained after management.·CONCLUSION:The classification and cause of the complications are not single.The complications can be prevented and controlled by appropriate surgical man-agement.·
