    Abstract:

    ·AIM:To discuss the effect of laser photocoagulation combined with intravitreous injection in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy(DR)with macular edema(ME).·METHODS:Patients who suffered DR(over Ⅲ)with ME received laser photocoagulation treatment in the whole retina with 532 wave length semiconductor laser instrument.Patients received intravitreous injection of triamcinolone acetonide in a week after operation.·RESULTS:After treatment,the eyesight of 218 eyes was improved or non-decreased in total 241 eyes,accounting for 90.5%.The amount of eyes whose eyesight was decreased was 23,accounting for 9.5%.Clinical effect was significant.·CONCLUSION:Laser photocoagulation combined with intravitreous injection is safe and effective in the treatment of DR with ME.·
